Co-op opportunity

Students who prefer to gain more work experience can enrol in one of our Co-op programs, which include a practicum component that accounts for half of the program's overall duration. While our Co-op programs are longer, they provide CCTB students with valuable field experience that will give them an advantage in their future careers.

CCTB is designated by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education. PTIB is dedicated to student protection and sets specific criterion for standards of quality which must be met by its recognized institutions.

Why study with us? 

CCTB is designated by The Education Quality Assurance (EQA). The EQA designation identifies BC public and private post-secondary institutions that have met or exceeded Provincial government-recognized standards for quality assurance and consumer protection.

  • Good command of English language.
  • High school diploma or equivalent from an approved government of applicant's home country, or applicant is minimum 19 years of age

For non-native English speakers:

  • Successful completion of CCTB EAP (English for Academic Purposes) Level 4 or
  • Have the required IELTS 5.5 score or equivalent or
  • Pass the CCTB English Assessment (Written onsite or online with exam proctor)
